Great idea - reminds me of snow cones, one of my favourite things to eat in Hawaii. Where it's hot all the time, of course. Ho ho ho. Glad you got home OK! x

A Modern Mother

It is more like a snow cone than ice cream, but my daughters loved it and thought it tasted much better than just plain snow!

TooManyHats

What a fun mom you are for that!!! Brilliant idea!!!

Heather

That's a great idea. My two love nothing more than eating snow, this should be right up their street.

Laura McIntyre

It sounds like a fun idea, may go and give it ago tomorrow if the snows sticks.

A Modern Mother

Too Many -- it was fun!

Heather -- Scottish Grandma is here and she tried it and liked it!

Laura -- try it, you'll like it

TheMadHouse

Sounds fantastic. We too got stuck, but on Sat night. a 20 min journey took 3 hours, scary

Domestic Goddesque

Oh My Lord. Why didn't i think of that? I even have a sore throat which needs soothing.....

Hannah

Wow, what a cool idea!

A Modern Mother

MadHouse -- Mine was the same, oh well, I guess worse things could happen...

Domestic -- Hope your better soon...

Hannah -- It is cold!

Online Mum

Great idea - love it!

Toni

I have never tried snow Ice cream if it snows again this year I just may have to though not sure we will get enough to have "clean" snow

A Modern Mother

Online -- try it!

Toni -- defo need "clean" snow. I did see lots of yellow snow on our walk today and had to explain it to 5-yr-old!

babieswhobrunch

Well I'd love to try that - if we ever get enough snow. Have decided that I am the "anti-snow": wherever I am, snow isn't. It has even just dumped 2ft in DC and we barely had any last year....

blueskyhi

Wow, that is some snow. We've been watching on the news all the snow in the northern hemisphere, whilst we're have 35c+ everyday. I'm not sure how I would be with a white Christmas as Christmas is all about sun, sand and surf for my family.

Merry Christmas

Cathy at nurturestore

Thanks for this - never seen it before. We've had a snow 'school' today - maths, science and craft activities. I've linked through to you - hope that's OK?
